We Lost Him!

We lost Baby Jesus! In the first few minutes of decorating chaos, we lost Baby Jesus! Really! I thought when I cleaned the living room this morning I would find him. I even VACUUMED! No Baby Jesus! I even got on my hands and knees and looked under the TV. No Baby Jesus!

I know some people leave the creche empty until Christmas, when we celebrate Jesus' birth. Looks like we will join this tradition by default! Hope I can find Baby Jesus by then!

The tree looks great on the balcony. I think it will stay there as my parent's bed will take much of our tiny living room. Jun says Ohhhhhhhh! when she looks at it! That makes me very happy. It is still a very crooked tree. The bottom six inches are kind of straight, and then it takes a distinct angle off to one side. So, I turned it so it is leaning TOWARDS the house. That way it looks straight, and maybe it will try to reach for the sun and straighten up?

We started our Christmas baking. If you can call applesauce with raisin pancakes, Christmas baking. It is amazing how much the word "pancake" sounds like "binkie" when spoken by a 17 month old sweet little cooker!

Are you getting ready for the holidays?

Thanksgiving: I am thankful that Ryu works so hard to provide for us. He is a wonderful husband and Daddy!

What a cute story. I love how your blog posts have been like a gratitude journal.
