Well, I gained a few pounds, gave up exercise for...sleep, and really enjoyed writing nearly every day right here this month. Thanks so much for stopping by to read!
Now what? So many of you have kindly asked me to keep writing! That's really nice of you! I'll give it my best try! (That sounds really Japanese English!)
I have a lot of interests, I guess. I have 5 blogs to prove it. However, I have been ...(waiting for English word to surface...not surfacing...hmmm...now I've lost the Japanese word too...hmmm) well, it's just not coming. Let's start again. I haven't written much in the other 4 in too long!
Kim's Kantan Cooking is my cooking blog. "Kantan" means easy. I started this blog in Japan, trying to record recipes for things I love that don't call for lots of speciality food items that were hard to find there. Now that Christmas is on its way and the kitchen is much cooler than the summer, I have LOTS of cooking and baking things to try and record! Two recipes on my mind today are 5-minute fudge and English Muffins in your bread-maker. I hope to convert this recipe to metric weights for my friends in Japan with bread-makers. And I have a bagel recipe to try in my bread-maker too! I found a combo recipe for cinnamon bread that takes yeast and baking powder. I think I'll try that one tomorrow! Mmm!
Another love is reading. And I've been doing way too much of it since I got to the land of ENGLISH LIBRARIES! Some I've read have been great. Some have been ho hum. But, I'd like to write about many of the good ones for kiddos as well as adults. That blog is called Kim's Bookshelf.
The fourth blog is "Junnie's Stories." I always wondered when I'd stop being Jun's voice and let her become her own voice. Now that she is writing notes and letters to folks, perhaps the time is drawing near. We'll see how this one goes.
My fifth blog is a private blog on adoption. I'm not sure if I will open it up to the public or not. I do have some things I'd like to write in it, however. If you are interested in reading this one, please let me know.
Then today, as I was looking through a book catalog, I thought, "I could write a book at least THAT good." Probably not, but it might be fun to try. We'll see!
So, I plan to keep writing, here, there, somewhere! Check my sidebar for links to my other blogs and please stop by!!!
Thankful: For the beautiful snow fall. That we don't have to go anywhere by car in it. That Jun and I had a wonderful walk in it this evening!!!

Who's Who?
Wow! This is the first time I've posted from a rocking chair! All the regular chairs were used for dinner in the dining room, so...I'm a rockin' and a postin'. Balancing is more like it!
Just a sad update on the Fall-Five. If you missed this, I had two goals for November. One was to post daily. The other was to loose five pounds through daily (ouch) exercise. Well, suffice it to say, the posting has gone pretty well. And the five pounds? Well, they've come along pretty well too! We are up to a Winter - Eight! Yep, daily exercise didn't last all month! Oh well! The chocolate chip cookies were good!
I have really enjoyed blogging this month! It has been fun to meet a few new people through the comments and ... well, I just really enjoy writing about stuff!
I wondered if you were interested in who you are? I love statistics. Not the class. Just, what is the temperature outside? How far has the dollar dropped against the yen. How many hours did I or did I not sleep last night. How much do I weigh NOW? How much Jun ate today. Well, the list continues right into the blogging world. There is a handy dandy site that gives me general information on what countries people are from who read the blog and what languages they speak. And how many folks stop by on a given day. If you are interested in getting it for your blog, it is called: sitemeter.com It's kind of fun and it's free!
Anyway
53% of you readers live in Japan
31% live in the US
2% live in the UK
2 % live in Australia
1% live in: Canada, Belgium, and France
75% of you all speak English
23% speak Japanese
2% speak French
So, I was wondering, as we are going into this last week of November, if any of you would like to SHOUT out who you are and, if you like, where you are, and, of course, if you have a blog, let us all know so we can stop by and get to know you!
THANKFUL: My Mom bought two pairs of jeans from Eddie Baur that...sadly don't fit HER, but that fit me to a T! Thanks, Mom! I love getting clothes without having to go to a ... STORE!
